PAYMENT TERMS    

These can be done with :
   a) Credit cards: all major credit cards are accepted. (Note: If you use a credit card to make an export purchase while in Peru, please beware that if local credit card vouchers are expressed in peruvian currency,your credit card monthly statement might have a slightly different amount charged. This is due to the exchange rate used by the credit card carrier at the balancing time. Camusso does not have any responsibility )

Payments with Visa Cards

The transactions made with your Visa card, use a new service of Visa: Verified by Visa, which makes these transactions authenticated and safe. When confirming the identities of the Visa cardholders, the fraudulent transactions of electronic commerce or in dispute are reduced, and it is a way to satisfy the restlessness of the consumer with respect to the purchases online

What is Verified by Visa?

Verified by Visa is a new service that will allow the Financial Institutions to authenticate the identity of the Visa cardholder during the process of payment at participating online stores

Benefits of Verified by Visa

- Greater security of the consumer for purchases online.
- Any special applications software are required on the computer of the Visa cardholder
- It is easy to use. It only needs a password and your Visa card to make a purchase.

How it works?

In the first place, the Visa cardholder must register himself in the service just once, visiting the site of inscription of the Bank who issued his Visa card. During the inscription process, a serie of questions with security aims are formulated to him, after that, he selects a password to authenticate himself, and decides a phrase that will be used like message of personal guarantee so that the Bank who issued his Visa card can authenticate him when making a transaction.

3-D Secure: The Technology behind Verified by Visa

The protocol 3-D Secure sustains the new service of Visa payments, designed to improve and to validate payments conducted by Internet. 3-D Secure is a technology of authentication that uses encription Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and a Plug-in to the Merchant Server that informs and verifies the participants with authentication aims during a purchase. Also, it protects the information of payment with the card during its transmission by Internet.

TAXES    

The customer is responsible for any local taxes or import duties, state or federal taxes, sales taxes which may arise as a result of the purchase and delivery to a foreign country. However, if the customer so desires, he or she may choose to pay all of the above (if applied) to us, and we will forward these charges as part of our service.
When exporting, the customer is not charged with peruvian sales tax.
In addition, there are some countries that have a benefitial treatment for goods coming from developing countries, by not charging import duties. Please contact us for more information about country or regional taxing policies.

RETURNS     

No returns will be accepted, unless written approval from us. However, CAMUSSO can study each case and if the outcome results on the acceptance of a determined return, a proper authorization will be issued. If such is the case, all handling charges (freight, local custom expenses, insurance) will need to have been be pre-paid before shipping of repaired items. In addition, all returns, are subject to a 30% re-stocking charge. Please request information to receive procedure instructions.

 

DELIVERY: FREIGHT, PACKAGING, TIMING, CHARGES, CLAIMS.
 

FREIGHT    Air freight

PACKAGING    Orders are delivered in wooden boxes with metal security numbered seals and stripes all around the box

TIMING    Orders will be delivered within 30 working days. However we reserve the right to extend this period depending on the complexity of the order. The customer will always be kept informed of dates of delivery and/or of any variations, from the the order is placed. CAMUSSO WILL NOT BE responsible for any airline delays or flight cancellations

DOOR-TO-DOOR SERVICE:    orders can be delivered directly at your home or office at no additional cost than the ones specified in “charges” . For this CAMUSSO uses DHL, a first line courrier company.
In some countries,you will be required to sign an authorization in favor of the courrier company, for their completion of customs procedures.
Usefulness of this service :    
   1- avoids the need to approach your local airport, specially when this is far away from home.
   2- handy when needing to send a gift.

CHARGES

For orders above $2,000:     pre-paid charge is 10% of your order. Additionally, there's a 5% charge for freight, 2.5% for insurance and 2.5% for packaging. However, you can choose not to pre-pay freight and/or insurance and these charges will stay under the customer’s responsibility. If this is the case,we will require only prepayment of packaging.

For orders below $2,000:     there is a flat pre-paid charge of $100  (This only includes packaging and insurance expenses).

Please note     that orders which require special expedition procedures may involve additional shipping charges .

CLAIMS

We reseve the right to accept or disregard your claim. For our consideration, you must :

   1- check thoroughly the box received before accepting it. Metal seals and stripes must be in perfect conditions and not broken.
   2- If wooden box and or metal seals and or stripes are broken, then you should ask for a claim form from the airline or the courier
       company. It should be filled out and signed by the office manager in charge and submitted to us.
   3- Your insurance charge must be fully pre-paid to us.
 

ORDER TERMS & CUSTOM MADE ORDERS

 

AVAILABILITY

All orders will be previously approved by CAMUSSO and will be subject to prices prevailing at the date of shipment and availability of merchandise.

ORDER SIZE

We do not require minimun order size for delivery. However, too small orders are non-adviceable. We will reserve the right of considering such orders too risky and deciding a non-delivery . We will suggest the customer other ways to receive the order .

CUSTOM ORDERS

All custom made orders will need to be pre-paid before manufacturing. Additional shipping charges might be considered. For these cases, credit card payments are not accepted. However other ways of payment as: wiring or letter of credit are accepted.
